Es Wade Balikpapan

Hi Kokoters,
Baru sempat ngeblog lagi nih, setelah sebulan disibukkan dengan pembuatan suvenir nikah untuk acara teman. Kali ini, The Kokot mau berbagi tentang resep es yang cukup populer di Balikpapan. Namanya Es Wade, atau es Kue dalam bahasa Indonesianya.
Es Wade saat ini mulai jarang dijumpai di Balikpapan tercinta ini, namun untuk melepas kerinduan pada cemilan favorit satu ini, The Kokot dapat resep dari kolega mimin Dapy tersohor Dapur Balikpapan. Berikut resepnya yaaah..

1. Sebungkus tepung hunkwe dimasak dengan 3-4 gelas air, atau sesuai selera

2. Kalau suka agak manis dan gurih, boleh tambah gula sedikit, santan/susu cair. Campur, aduk adonan tepung hunkwe-nya sampai kental dan mendidih.

3. Kalau udah agak kental dan mendidih, tuang adonan ke loyang ukuran tertentu, kemudian dinginkan. Biarkan hingga adonan mengeras,

4.Setelah adonan mengeras, keluarkan dari loyang, potong-potong persegi atau sesukanya, lalu bungkus dengan plastik.

5. Kalau udah terbungkus plastik semua, tinggal dimasukin freezer, deh.

6. Tunggu beberapa jam sampai beku, dan…. Voila! Es Wade siap disantap!

Creativity for Charity

Hallo kokoters..
Just want to share my last activity in this month, which fullfully with charity activity. I'm joined with social community named 'jejak khairunnisa' (www.jejakkhairunnisa.com) which this month during ramadan we want to help people as much as we can. In this month, Jejak Khairunnisa (JK) help the people whom their home are caught in fire on Dahor street Balikpapan. Meanwhile in this Ramadan we make creativity product for our charity, such as tote bag and the key chain training for the orphangeus. Almost hundred of tote bag made by us, and sold out. For the tote bag we use the tint printing and marker picture. The orphanage kids from al ikhlas are happy and excited, hopefully someday we can make the same programme for them again. Okay kokoters thats all story for today, happy fasting and crafting

My vintage TV still on

Yipppie yaaaiii, just clean up my old room upstair, and found my old black and white tv with brand telesonic. Eventhough this is very aged tv, it's still on. But too bad, we can't catch up the channel because it still use frequence anthene and enable synchronize to modern tv anthene. However weather this tv really old fashioned but we refused to throw it away, because of the history and  the antique model for this tv. Loved it. Happy vintage kokoters.......

Taste modern in Traditional Way

Alhamdulillah we still meet in this lebaran (eid mubarak), as usual silaturahim tradition is still a must in lebaran. And many kind of food are served in this moment. In this year, my mom and I just made the simple food, but most people are liked, it was bakso or meat ball.
Nothing special with our meat ball at this moment, but we made it with traditional way, which is using ancient stove that using log, dry branches, dry leaves as the fire. My father called this stove as 'tungku sampah' or garbage stove.
This stove really traditional, and also make a global warming I guest :-/ but the advantage of this stove are, we can saving more in this economy crisis which is gas to cook are expensive, and the ashes from this burned stove can be an organic fertilizer for moms garden. Ok thats all my story for today, happy eid mubarak folks

Happy Fasting, Happy Breastfeeding and Happy Crafting !

Halooow, Hi There.... Meet again in this Ramadhan fasting moment. Super glad we can meet in this Ramadhan again, after last Ramadhan was unfull alias 'bolong-bolong' because the pregnancy, I hope this year, my Ramadhan will full of fasting... *Bismillah*
In this Ramadhan, Auzi already 6 month old, and already finish his Exclusive BreastFeeding (ASI Eksklusip 6 month), and time to have meal. He really loves cerealia, fruits and some Vegs. Hopefully this Ramadhan Auzi can eat well and Emak able to pass 1 month full of Ramadhan fasting while breastfeeding.

This month, I've just made another boopy pillow for my friend, Iswahyuni which just birthing last week, her second child, beautiful baby girl which I haven't told her name yet -__-. In this birth she said want to have fully breastfeeding for her baby too, not like her first son which enable to get the full breastfeeding.

I made the pink fanta boopy pillow for her, and the dark nursing apron. Thee boopy pillow I've made already include the pillow case, so if it's dirty it's not difficult to wash it. I use the cotton With and extra thickness can hold the baby when she try to sit, or when she sleep on it while having breastfeeding.

I added the baby owly for the nursing apron, so it looks more cute and colourful beside the dark color. The apron has 40 cm long of boning, so the mommy able to see her baby while breastfeeding.

Si Sexy Julung-julung, dan Boxy nya Uburii

Hello... it's been a year since my last post here. Udah lama nda jemur cerita-cerita seru disini. Jemuran pertama kuawali dengan perkenalan anggota keluarga baru kami. Namanya Auzi, my 6 month baby, yang sangat suka berenang dan melihat pemandangan sekitar.

Ditengah kesibukan yang bejibun sebagai ibu rumah tangga, Auzi memberi sedikit inspirasi untuk kembali bercrafting, kali ini bikin mainan soft toys untuknya di kremet-kremet. 

Yuuuk.. kenalan sama soft toys baru Auzi, handmade by Amaknya.. :) 

Uburii si Ubur-ubur bikin geli

 Ini dia penampakan si Uburii, ubur2 berbentuk kubus, yang bikin geli-geli. Uburii murni dijahit tangan, sama seperti si sexy Julung-julung, karena mesin jahit lagi rusak, dan belum sempat pergi ke tukang servis untuk memperbaikinya. -___-. Proses membuat yang seharusnya cepat, jadi agak molor, karena dikerjakan manual. Tapi bete nya langsung lenyap ketika mainannya sudah selesai, dan Baby Auzi langsung antusias menyambutnya, dan mendaratkannya di mulut -___-.

Hi, my name is Julung-julung the sexiest fish in the sea.

Ini dia si ikan Julung-julung, ikan sexy dengan sisik yang colourfull. Olahan dari kain katun perca, dan flannel sisa. 

Mainan Auzi memang dibuat dengan beberapa warna tabrak lari, biar cerah ceria dan Auzi juga bisa belajar warna dari mainannya. :)

Masih ada beberapa soft toys yang sudah masuk bakul ide nya Amaak Auzi, tunggu update selanjutnya yah :)
